This behemoth, launched in 2014, is equally well suited to eCommerce stores as it is for more traditional sites: One Page Sites, Portfolios, Blogs. The themes covered are equally wide-ranging. These range from corporate designs for businesses, through templates for video games, gastronomy, wellness, architecture, sports… to designs for photographers and creative production studios.

Betheme originally ran on Visual Composer and WPBakery, but has now adapted to Elementor… clever. Betheme also has its own minimalist Builder, the Muffin Builder (Pages, Headers & Footers builder).

This war machine is also optimized for bbPress, BuddyPress, Easy Digital Downloads, Events Calendar, Gravity Forms, WooCommerce, and WPML of course (almost all the themes listed here are “multilingual” compatible).

What’s more, since March 2022, BeTheme has also been offering its own site builder… the BeBuilder!
It’s a WooCommerce Builder, Header builder (with mega menu), Footer Builder and PopUp Builder. However, the “Muffin Builder” is not obsolete and still features prominently in their theme.

Enfold is a theme that has long been one of ThemeForest ‘s benchmarks alongsideAvada, except that Enfold has always been more minimalist and ergonomic for its users. Thanks to its light weight, this theme offers good performance in terms of loading time. Nevertheless, it remains comprehensive and flexible (compatible with bbPress, EasyCart, WooCommerce, etc.).

However, we regret the absence of a good visual Page Builder. Enfold uses its own in-house Page Builder, the Avia Builder which is used in the backend (via the WordPress dashboard). You are free to install Elementor or Divi Builder if you have the Elegant Themes license, but these are not officially supported by Enfold.

Of course, you’re also free to install Page Builders like Beaver Builder, Elementor or Divi, but it will be more optimal for you to stick with the Builder that GeneratePress has developed specifically to maintain the high performance of its theme .

Needless to say, Hello Elementor is fully compatible with the Elementor page builder. If you’re a fan of this Page Builder, it’s almost certain that you’ll want to give Hello Elementor a try by doing a few tests!

By creating this theme Free and Minimalist Elementor’s strategy was clear: to tease Divi Theme and its page builder, Divi Builder, on their weak point: speed (or performance, as you prefer). In fact, that’s almost the only argument you’ll find on Elementor’s official website: speed, speed and more speed. It has to be said that almost the entire site is built using Elementor, a solution that existed long before Hello. The advantage of Elementor is that it gives you access to hundreds of prefabricated web designs, some of which (but not all) are available free of charge.

A blow for Elementor and its Hello theme, as the Divi team (Elegant Themes) has responded with version 4.10, releasing an update that makes Divi faster than Hello Elementor.

In any case, to compete with Divi, it’s very clever of Elementor to have also created its own theme (which is also Free), if only to appear on the Free Themes repository (WordPress.org). And with over 1 million active installations, Hello is clearly a success. 1st best free theme (ahead of Astra, which was previously number one). Quite a feat for a free theme that really launched in early 2020.

This theme is reputed to be among those offering the most clickable options from the WordPress dashboard, for customization of all areas of the theme (header, footer…), colors, fonts, and so on. In fact, there are a few too many options. However, if you import one of the more than 90 pre-designed sites, without changing a thing, you won’t have to worry about this over-stuffed interface.
